100 Favorite Films: Gandhi to Goldfinger

Picking my 100 favorite films was hard enough.  Ranking them?  Impossible.

Therefore I'll be presenting them in alphabetical order.  Also, very important to note...quoting the amazing Priscilla Page -

"...first and foremost, I never intend for this list to be an objective, declarative statement on film... I just want to share what I loved, what moved me, what helped me, what was fun to watch — in short, the movies I want other people to get their eyeballs on if they haven’t already."

Gandhi (1982)

Amazing film about an amazing man.  Even at ten years old this film struck a chord with me.

Glengarry Glen Ross (1992)

This film introduced me to the amazing writing of David Mamet.  A+ script plus A+ actors = a hell of a great film.

The Godfather - Parts I and II (1972/1974)

Is there anything I could add that hasn't already been said about these legendary films?  Probably not.

Gods and Monsters (1998)

Sir Ian McKellen is fantastic as the aging film director James Whale.  The film revolves around the surprising friendship between he and his handsome gardener.  A terrific story of an older gay man set in 1950's America.

Goldfinger (1964)

One of the very best in the incredible long line of 007 films.  Sean Connery IS James Bond.
